Animoca Brands, a non-fungible token investor and blockchain game developer located in Hong Kong, has declared plans to assist Yuga Labs in creating the highly anticipated Otherside: Legends of the Mara metaverse and NFT game.
The NFT gaming investor acknowledged backing Yuga Labs’ development of Legends of the Mara, a highly anticipated 2D strategic metaverse game built on NFT collections, in a blog post on April 3. Last week, the digital asset company Yuga Labs revealed intentions to introduce the new metaverse game.
Legends of the Mara will be produced with assistance from Animoca
Video game software and venture capital firm Animoca Brands was established in 2014. The company is well recognized for having backed some of the most popular projects in the metaverse, including The Sandbox, Blowfish Studios, Quidd, GAMEE, nWay, Pixowl, Forj, Lympo, Grease Monkey Game, Eden Games, and others.
The other gaming behemoth and NFT investing company is Yuga Labs. One of the most popular NFT initiatives, including Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club, TwelveFold, Otherdeed for Otherside, and others, is the offspring of the digital asset company.
Legends of the Mara, a 2D standalone experience powered by ApeCoin, is being developed by the two gaming behemoths Animoca Brands and Yuga Labs. The new game will include the Otherside Koda NFT collection as well as the Mara collection, which has the potential to develop into Kodamara.
How to Play the Otherside Legends of the Mara NFT Game
Yuga Labs will start by giving holders of Otherdeed NFT collections a Vessel so they may begin playing the new game. The Otherdeed-holding wallet would receive each claimed Vessel as a unique ERC-721 token along with a new smart contract NFT collection.
There will be numerous features aboard each vessel, such as randomly allocated Hunting, Farming, or Enchanting. Users may buy and sell Mara through various trading sites once they have left their Vessels and become a new NFT collection.
The site’s article states that this week will mark the beginning of fresh Vessel claims by owners of Otherdeed NFT collections. Following the conclusion of the recently released « The 2nd Trip of the Otherside », the metaverse game will debut early the following month.
